HMS2 Student Advisory Board

Academic Year 2019-2020

Throughout the 2019-2020 academic year, high school students across southeast Michigan were invited to participate as an inaugural cohort in the HMS2 Student Advisory Board. The Board met regularly to explore the topics of mental health and well-being, especially as they relate to the experiences of high school students. The Board also provided guidance on HMS2 survey development by identifying and prioritizing survey topics that would best serve students, student advocates, and student wellness. Additionally, the Board provided invaluable feedback about survey characteristics including language, presentation, modes of administration, and other critical aspects. We are grateful to have had the privilege to work with such a bright, talented, and dedicated  group of students as an inaugural cohort.
